History & Origin of Bajrang Baan
The accurate facts about the origin of Bajrang Baan are not available. However, several experts believe that the Hanuman Bajrang Baan lyrics are composed by Goswami Tulsidas. Tulsidas is an outstanding poet and author of the famous Shri Ramcharit Manas. It is believed that he composed Hanuman Chalisa before he began writing Shri Ramcharit Manas. The Jai Hanuman Chalisa lyrics were composed by Goswami Tulsidas in the Awadhi dialect during the 16th century. Apparently a tantric from Kashi had performed the Maran Mantra on Tulsidas.
